I received compensation from Dr. Scholl’s® to write this post. All opinions are entirely my own.

I can’t believe it’s already September. That means summer is ending, fall is approaching and the super exciting New York Fashion Week is coming up soon in September 2017! Fashion weeks are always fun and busy, with tons of running around between and after shows. Great outfit combos with heels come at a great price, with my feet always getting super tired and I resort to changing into flats. I believe lots of you girls out there do the same!

Luckily, Dr Scholl’s came out with their Stylish Step™ insoles line, which includes insoles for your heels, flats, booties, and whatever you’re sporting.

My newfound comfort that I bring along with me every time I wear heels, the Dr Scholl’s Stylish Step™ High Heel Relief insoles. I love the super comfy gel arch support, which is designed to shift pressure off the ball of my feet (which is always my number 1 pain when wearing heels).

This is what it looks like inside my heels. They are invisible, which means even if you wear sandals like mine or peep toes or strappy stilettos, they won’t show. I wear a size US7, and the insoles work for shoe sizes 6-10. I placed it so that the ball of my foot is directly supported by the gel pad and the arch lined up with my foot.

Instant. Game. Changer.

I also noticed my feet don’t tend to slide downwards as much, and the arch lifts my feet up ever so slightly that the pressure is distributed evenly across my feet, as opposed to a 100% on the balls of my feet. I’ve also heard it keeps your feet dry, although with me wearing sandals I don’t usually have a problem with sweaty feet (lol). But I’m assuming if I’m wearing a pair of leather pumps it would make a huge difference.

Another Dr Scholl’s Stylish Step™ insoles item that I absolutely love and is a MUST HAVE for any heel-wearer on the go is the Dr Scholl’s Stylish Step™ Ball of Foot Cushions. I find that these offer great padding for those sky high heels. I no longer feel like I am walking on concrete but rather on soft padding.

Even when I’m jumping or running you can barely see the insoles, which is great! All in all, Dr Scholl’s Stylish Step™ insoles are amazing add-ons to any high heels for any occasions. Now I don’t necessarily think they are able to magically transform a pair of killer heels (i.e. 6 inch Louboutins) into a pair of dream shoes that you can wear all day, but they can definitely help extend the time by which you can wear them. My heels are 4 inch strappy sandals that normally I can last about 20 minutes in before needing a break, but with the Dr Scholl’s Stylish Step™ insoles, I can walk comfortably in them for up to 1 hour continuously.

Invisible support and comfort for all-day comfort AND looking great! I’m totally ready for NY Fashion Week! You can find Dr Scholl’s Stylish Step™ products at Target (in the footcare aisle near the pharmacy) for 10% off with the Cartwheel app. Find out more here.

Spring is around the corner! That means biker jackets, ripped jeans, and white sneakers out! I am in love with Grlfrnd Denim, they have THE. MOST. COMFORTABLE. denim everrrr it seriously feels like you are wearing a second layer of skin. I’m wearing the Candice mid-rise super stretch skinny jeans by Grlfrnd Denim.

It’s seriously biker jacket season, I pretty much have biker jackets in all colors, but black is still my go-to! This one is from Zara, it’s faux leather and cropped meaning it goes great with high-waisted jeans!

I layered my look with a cozy knit two-tone scarf from Zara. Even though I recently got it in store, I couldn’t find it online anymore! But I did find a pretty close dupe here.

Cut out details on the Candice mid-rise super stretch skinny jeans by Grlfrnd Denim.

Ever since I wore these on Instagram, I’ve been getting a lot of questions on where they are from. I got these from an Adidas store in Paris, Champs Elysees! (How cool is that!) At that time, it was limited edition (Summer 2015). Luckily, you can also get it online here!

Hello lovelies!

Happy 2017! Wishing all of you the best of the best in this new year! For me, it’s to grow my beautiful baby boy Lucas (who is quite the little devil sometimes), grow my body and make it fit and strong, and grow my business (new year new clothes anyone?) I would also want to grow my hair! When I was pregnant I chopped off a bunch of my hair because it was getting too long and tangled (I blame it on the pregnancy hormones). Then of course I regretted it immediately. It didn’t help that the hubby’s world pretty much fell apart (to be fair he is my photographer so he deserves to have some emotions tied to my hair). So I made a promise to him that if I ever cut my hair again that he is allowed to slap me across the face. What do you mean domestic abuse.

I’m a pretty lazy efficient person so to me, the best of both worlds is to have semi-long hair myself, then add on hair extensions when I’m taking photos or going out for a bit more of the glam look. Since I have ombre balayaged hair with blond highlights, (thank you N15 Salon!) I like to have hair extensions with the same color palette. However, most hair extensions out there don’t offer highlighted packages, and if you want to achieve the look the best thing to do would be to take it to a hair salon to get the extensions colored/highlighted. BUT! A lot of extensions cannot be colored for reasons beyond my comprehension, so I’m gonna show you a super easy way to DIY your own highlights in your hair extensions.

First things first, all you need are 2 sets of hair extensions in the same length, but different colours. For me, I went with the Luxyhair Chestnut brown and Dirty blonde.

Remove the clips on one set of colours, and with fabric glue, carefully glue on strip of fabric band onto the other set of color.

Press firmly when done, and remember to leave it to dry for a good few hours before using it because you don’t want to pull out your own hair!

Repeat the same process for all the other corresponding hair wefts (the blonde 4-clip should adhere to the brown 4-clip, etc), until all your wefts are double-layered.

It should look something like this when you’re finished – look at all the high and lowlights peeking through!

That’s it! Isn’t that super easy? Now your hair extensions are highlighted, double layered (which means more hair and more volume!)

Enjoy your new hair extensions with highlights!

Baby Lucas says hi!

Living in North America it can be hard to get my hands on Asian style clothings, hehehe. Then I decided to go on a search for some K-pop inspired outfits, and I came across KOODING. Before this I’ve never heard of KOODING, but they totally surprised me with their quality, shipping, and customer service! Here’s a review of what I got from KOODING.
