FAKE FACEBOOK ACCOUNT

This is a warning to all of you all there – you may know me, you may not. It’s just one of those things in my life that I cannot tolerate. Plagiarism is ONE thing;  identity theft takes it to a whole new level.

According to my imposter, my name is MANGO KERYNN (WHICH IT IS NOT), I am SINGLE, a STUDENT, and resides in MALAYSIA. Where I clearly state in all my social media platforms that I reside in TORONTO. TORONTO, CANADA, where I’m constantly referring to north pole or ice city.
The beach/bikini picture in the fake account was captioned “missing the sun waves in pulau redang”.
First of all, I have never even BEEN to malaysia, let alone Pulau Redang. And those who are familiar with my earlier posts may recognize that picture from my CUBA TRIP HERE

To mitigate this situation, I have created an official Facebook page for Mangorabbitrabbit, you can access it HERE
Official Account (Page)
To all my followers, if you follow my facebook page, I will definitely follow you back
I strongly encourage bloggers to stick together and form a tighter bond between one another so we can prevent such a pitiful event from happening again.
Identity theft is NOT okay. LET’S ALL STOP IT!

Can you report the page? I will see if there is a way I can also report the page. FB does take fake accounts down if you can prove it!

OMG dear. I’ve already reported the fake account! Hope Facebook will take down the account asap. I know how it feels like. I once had someone fake a twitter and blog account too with photos of mine, that’s so annoying. Weird people nowadays *sigh*
    Stay strong!

That’s very upsetting when someone uses your pictures and name to pretend to be you.

Hey Mango! I actually saw that fake facebook when I was searching for your facebook page. I had a feeling it was fake, and when you verified it was fake I reported it immediately! The thing I hate that most is identify thief, that’s so dangerous for the person. I know what it feels like, I was a victim many times. I hope you’re ok hun and as long as many people report the fake account, facebook will definitely take it down. I can’t believe there’s so many creepy people in this world!

Take care always, love Christine ~ xo

Have you done anything to that imposter? I hope he/she has taken down the page and apologized to you. Good that you were kept aware of this. Some people with their identity stolen simply do not know what had happened till somebody informed them. So I’m glad you spotted this quite quickly. My photo was used as somebody’s profile photo on YouTube by the name of “Elva”. I wouldn’t have known if not for my friend who informed me. I pm that person using my actualy YouTube account and she immediately removed it w/o apologizing. Oh well… at least she removed.
