I’m going to show you how to style OTKs (over the knee boots). What is fall fashion without OTKs anyway?! I’ve tried on a LOT in my life but always find myself going back to the SW ones. The SW Highlands are very fitted to my legs and goes up to the mid-thigh area. I’m 5’7 for reference. I’ve been looking for a good pair of OTKs that are fitted around the ankle, stays up, and doesn’t make me look like an elephant hahaha. Here are some tips to style them!
First, pick your favorite skirts, shorts or rompers to show off your legs! Second, make sure you have a belt or something to pinch-in your waist, forming an hourglass figure (I totally forgot mine here). And lastly, make sure you either color match your OTK’s with your purse or pick a color that compliments it. Because you show a bit of skin with your OTKs, the focus will naturally be around your pelvic area and thighs, that’s why your purse color will be important! For the top, make sure to keep it simple so it does not clash with your main focal points.
That’s all! As you can see below, I’m loving plaid and a tiny bit of sophistication for this fall. I hope you’ll agree.
