Hi fluffy puffies!
I recently discovered a new online shopping site, Chicwish! Here’s what I got from them:
Contrast Deep V-Neck Sweater in Black. This dark blue, V-shaped neckline sweater TOTALLY reminded me of what asian schoolgirls wear as uniforms to school, so I paired it with my preppy mustard colored pleated skirt and my cotton thigh high socks. This look instantly transported me back to high school where you can essentially wear anything you want! <3
Gah~ I also paired this look with my cute backpack that I got from Lookbookstore – which, by the way, is totally trending right now.
Close-up of the sweater. The material is dense and structured knit that will keep you warm – it’s definitely not flimsy like many other online sweaters you buy. And the sizing is pretty accurate too – I wear a S/M.
Next, I got the Khaki Trench Coat with Waterfall Drape. This look is entirely opposites of my first look but I’ve been lusting over a good quality trench coat with waterfall drapes for the longest times! Waterfall drapes are all the hype this season, whether it’s suede, leather, cardigans, it looks good on everybody and gives the illusion of multiple layers!
Because it’s a statement piece in itself, I kept the rest of my outfit simple – and stuck to neutral color palettes. Just white and black! Pleather look leggings from ASOS.
Ta-Dah! My new love! <3 Simple and glam!
The only drawback is that this “trench coat” is more of a “thick cardigan”, which is actually a better material for the waterfall drapes. It can be difficult for conventional trench coats to have waterfall drapes due to the stiff and rigid structure but this one pulls it off well as it’s definitely more fluid and soft than the thick fall trench coats.
Hope you guys liked the contrasting outfits haha, but that just goes to show the variety of fashion items ChicWish carries. They ship by Hong Kong Mail, which is much faster and more reliable than China Post. Also, their quality is also on-par with other famous online retailers such as ASOS, Missguided etc. Be sure to check them out!
xoxo, Kerina Mango
